NODUS Merges Traditional Turkish Sounds with Modern Afro House on “Yolla”
Turkish Afro House producer NODUS returns with “Yolla,” a release that connects traditional Turkish musical elements with contemporary electronic club production.
The track is built around a sampled motif from the traditional Turkish song Kadifeden Kesesi, paired with Arabic vocals that convey the story of two lovers drawn into an intense and unavoidable passion. Afro-influenced rhythms, deep basslines, Turkish darbuka patterns and layered melodic structures form a driving and cohesive arrangement.
Crafted with peak-time dancefloors in mind, “Yolla” balances high energy with cultural depth. Prior to release, the track was tested during live DJ performances across four different countries, where it generated strong reactions from club audiences.
