Toka & Carine drops Zilevo on SSL Music.
“Zilevo” by Toka and Carine is a fresh, uptempo song inspired by Giorgos Mazonakis’ well-known chart-topping single. With traditional Greek music influences, this remake is definitely one that people all over Eastern Europe will recognize.
Toka is the newest music project by Andrei Mihai, a Latin Grammy-nominated producer currently signed to Universal Music Publishing France. Over the past few years, he has been participating in songwriting sessions all over Europe and the UK, and in doing so he was able to work with lots of great artists while exploring a wide range of pop genres: Dance, Urban, House, Latin, R&B, etc.
Carine is a singer and songwriter based in Romania. With her unique and angelic voice, she is every producer’s dream. Carine is very easy to work with, her vocal range making her perfect for multiple genres. From indie, to dance and pop, she instantly increases the quality of every song with her vocals. Her latest single „Call 911” has already gained more than 2.5 million streams on DSPs, and significant radio airplay in Turkey and Italy, after only 3 months since its release.
The artists are collaborating for the first time on their brand new song called “Zilevo”. The song tells the story of how jealousy can take control in relationships at times, and how it makes the lovers act unusually and feel insecure all at once.
