THE STORY BEHIND “CHEM TRAIL”
“Chem Trail” was born out of the desire to capture the emotional turbulence of love, its thrill, addiction, and the struggle to break free. Setou & Senyo crafted a
deep, melodic soundscape, layered with Lil Eddie’s emotive vocals and signature storytelling. The lyrics dive into the push-and-pull of a toxic romance, likening love to a powerful addiction that’s impossible to escape:
“You’re my daily caffeine, chasing you like a teenage dream. You’re bad for my health, but I’m so addicted to you.” Speaking about the collaboration, Setou & Senyo said:
“Working with Lil Eddie was an incredible experience. His ability to translate raw emotion into melody and lyrics brought ‘Chem Trail’ to life in a way we never imagined.”
Lil Eddie, known for his work with top international artists, added: “‘Chem Trail’ is all about the highs and lows of love. It’s emotional, it’s raw, and it’s something everyone can relate to.
