What is BandLink?
BandLink is a platform designed for artists and managers to manage and analyze their digital assets from a single hub. It offers benefits like access to statistics from platforms such as Yandex Music, enabling donation support buttons, and adding features like “Upcoming Release” to the artist’s page. Yandex only accepts editorial submissions from verified artists through BandLink.

- Donation Support: Artists can add a button that allows fans to make donations.
- Analytics Access: Data such as listening and engagement metrics from Yandex Music can be analyzed through BandLink.

BandLink serves as a marketing and analytics hub, especially by integrating with Yandex Music and other Russia-based digital platforms, providing a central location for independent musicians and managers. The platform consolidates all of the artist’s digital assets into a single link (link-in-bio), bringing together connections to social media accounts, streaming platforms, and concert ticket sales.
Verification Process on BandLink
To access all of BandLink’s functions, you must undergo a verification procedure. You need to provide data that verifies you are an artist or artist manager. Only verified profiles can access the analytics account containing Yandex Music statistics, link the “Donate” button, and add the “Upcoming Release” block to their artist pages on Yandex Music.
Who Can Verify?
Both registered and new users can undergo verification. Currently, only artists and their managers have access to this opportunity.
How to Verify on BandLink:
- Open the BandLink website from a desktop: The “Verification” button can be found in the left menu of your personal account; click on it.
- Log in with Yandex ID: Use your existing Yandex Mail (e.g., xxx@yandex.ru) to log in or register a new Yandex Mail. You can use any email address when signing up for BandLink.
- Enter your information: Provide your real first and last name, the email address listed on your official artist page or social media group, and specify your role (artist or artist manager).
- Verification documents: Indicate the artist’s official VK group, the official website (if available), and the UPC code of the latest single release. If you don’t know your UPC code, you can request it from the SSL Music team for any of your releases.
- Final confirmation: You will receive an email confirming that your application has been accepted. Verification confirmation can take up to seven business days.
Please Note: Your verification may be rejected for the following reasons:
- If you submitted an incorrect UPC code.
- If you are not the manager or editor of the artist’s official VK page.
- If your role on BandLink is not an artist or artist manager.
Accessing a Verified Account
If a manager has verified a BandLink profile, they can transfer account access to the artist. An artist with a verified profile can link donations to Yandex Music. Only one user can have managerial rights. Specify the email address of the artist you wish to share access with and select the “Manager” access level.
